Grass Fed Beef Meatballs

If you are in the market for some of the best-tasting grass fed meatballs around, you will love the blend of ingredients in this recipe. It combines subtle flavors that will tantalize your taste buds and leave you coming back for more time and time again. You can add more or less of the seasonings to taste, but this is a great start to see just how delectable these goodies are.

Ingredients:

1.5-pounds of grass fed beef

2 tbsp. butter

Salt and pepper to taste

Paprika, oregano, cayenne and lemon garlic to season

½ c. extra virgin olive oil

4 diced garlic cloves

1 diced onion

3 tbsp. chopped thyme

½ carrot grated

2 cans of whole peeled tomatoes

1 c. red wine

Parmesan for grating

Start by rolling your beef into meatballs. Season them with salt, pepper, oregano, cayenne, paprika and lemon garlic. Allow them to sit for about an hour before you cook them.

Heat butter and olive oil until your butter is melted. Add in the garlic and cook for a couple of minutes to brown everything. Don’t burn the garlic or you will end up starting from scratch. Add in the onion and cook for a few more minutes. Add in the thyme and carrot until it is nice and soft. Add in the tomatoes and juice. Lower your heat and simmer everything for about a half hour.

In another skillet, add olive oil, butter and wine. Then add in your meatballs. Cool for roughly 10 minutes until the meat is no longer pink. Put your meatballs on a plate and pour your sauce over them.
